Ill-Ko Illy-I

Ill-Ko & Illy-I, i guess they are from New Jersey or NYC. In 1999 they released a 12" single with the three tracks "Illy-I", "Sun City" and "Big Shots" on Heavy Hittas Entertainment and it is the first release on this label. It seems there are more MC's than Ill-Ko & Illy-I on the Mic, Skeme and Ill Rob? My favourite track is "Big Shots", got a smooth hypnotic beat! "Sun City" got a nice bassline and the hook reminds me a bit on some Cypress Hill ish. "Illy-I" comes with some singing parts and got some westcoast flava.

Dal J'Ones

Dal J'Ones is part of the group Deep In Da Circle from NYC. The members of the group are Tamir the MasterMind, Dal J'Ones & Ghetto Blues (aka Suga Marv, now known as Jetlag Ash). They released their debut 12" single in 1996 called "Stardom / I" and followed with an EP in 1999 titled "So (Where I Live At)" and the CD album "Circle Status". In 1999 Dal J'Ones also released his solo 12" single "Dynasty" on Hang 'Em High Entertainment. This wax got only one track, but i think it's a really dope one! Produced by Nora Moss for Hang 'Em High Entertainment, Executice Producers are L. Williams & A. Harris and mixed by Kenny McDonald at No Mystery Studios.

The Don Blaq Project

"The Don Blaq Project", Don Blaq from Trenton New Jersey is the man behind this project. I am not sure about his discography, but i know there are some other joints from him and he is still makin music. In 1999 he released a 12" Single on My People Entertainment with the 3 tracks "Toy Soldiers", "High Performance" & "Rise Or Fall". All 3 cuts are some nice late 90s thug rap about the hustle in the streets of Trenton. On "Toy Soldiers" is a second MC (K. Alexander) rhyming, but i don't know his artist name. "High Performance" is a Don Blaq solo joint and on "Rise Or Fall" he also gets support on the hook from another MC (K. Vaughn). All songs produced by Derrick Johnson & Cyrus Bey, Executive Producers are Isacc "Ikeboogie" Ewell, Shawn "Cope" Copeland & Robert "Robbies-Styles" Sumners. F.O.E.SL (aka Ill Monkey Millisha) is a group from Worcester, Boston MA. The Group consists of the following Militia Soldiers: Doc Zhivago (CPR), Ramatut The Pharoah, Magnus Christ, Race Born Allah, Jet Brillante, Ensubar Nur, Omega 7, Frank Dynasty, Sgt. Asiia & Saints Of Purgatory. In 1999 they released a 4 Track EP on Psalms:151 Records, F.O.E.SL Entertainment. The EP include the tracks "Seventh Hill Division", "Blood In The Face", "Energy Fight" & "W.O.R.C." (We Out Rockin Crews). The Style of F.O.E.SL range from conscious to thug rap. My favourite tune is "Energy Fight"! The EP was produced by Chaps (DJ Chaps) a Producer & DJ from Boston MA, who also produced the Illegal Bastardz - Soon To Blow 12" on IB'Z Entertainment in 1998.
