Knoxx (Heavyweight Entertainment) is a crew from New Jersey. Members are R. Altenor, J. Lakin, L. Baggett, N. Williams, L. Madison and A Jones. In 1995 they released the single Knoxx Thang / Pynch Nerve on Heavyweight Entertainment / Low Profile Records, avaiable as 12" and CD single. On Low Profile Records there was also the nice Tromma Mobb - Typical Niggaz 12" one year earlier! And what have both singles in common? A weak A-Side! The main track "Knoxx Thang" is a wack slow jam you will not miss. But don't worry, you get rewarded with some ruff and rugged dopeness on "Pynch Nerve" which also appears as a remix titled "Pynched Nerve". I like both versions, choose ya favorite!
