F.O.N.

F.O.N. (aka Forces Of Nature) is a group out of Staten Island NY. I am not sure about the members, we have Howard Gutter, Rasheed Gutter, Haze Guard & Splff. They released their debutsingle "Gotta Get Mine" on Fun Records Inc. in 1996. Besides the maintitle "Gotta Get Mine" which comes with a remix, we have the second track "Bring Wreck" on it, which one also has a remix. "Gotta Get Mine" is a smooth number about getting a record deal. i prefer the remix, cause it got that nice jazzy feel on it. "Bring Wreck" is some hardcore ish which comes ruff, rugged & raw and Haze Guard is grimey on the mic. I can't decide which version i like more, both are really nice! All tracks written & produced by Howard Gutter & Rasheed Gutter. Recorded at Laughing Dog Studios Staten Island and mixed by Bill Donnelly. The remixes were produced by Brent Faroh Toussaint, who also produced for the Lost Boys, Hithard & the Nodyaheadtodis Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 compilations. For all cd collectors, this one was also released as cd single with the same tracklist.
